On August 12th SeaVenture Restaurant hosted their first Central Coast Wedding Professionals Mixer and what a spectacular night it was! Chef Treaver Lynch provided a spread of food that became the happiest subject of the evening. Everything from the amazing cheese board to include our house roasted almonds and marinated olives, shrimp cocktail, the amazing duck confit tacos, scallops on phyllo pastry, mushroom tarts….. and then to top it off with shot glasses filled with chocolate mousse and chocolate covered strawberries. The bar whipped up a tasty concoction known as the Blushing Bride which was sure to look so fancy in a martini glass. Two mock wedding ceremonies were set up out on the beach with the help of amazing floral designer Jenny McNiece www.jennymcnieceflowers.com to showcase our two newly handbuilt wood arches, one in a natural tone and the other all white. Two of the areas most wonderful photographers Johnathon of BluePhoto, www.bluephoto.biz and Melissa Fitzpatrick of Fitzpatrick Studios www.fitzpatrickstudios.com took some unbelievable shots. Being that the evening was so foggy, I didn’t know what to expect, but both came through with more than I could have ever asked for. Our own General Manager, Chet Hogoboom played out on the Terrace with his band CT and Tommy Lee www.ctandtommylee.com as vendors grooved away the evening with his tunes. The mixer seemed like a hit, vendors were able to check out our venue, try our food, enjoy our view and just spend an enjoyable August evening beachfront here at the SeaVenture. Thank you all our vendors for attending, hope to see you back working your magic at the next SeaVenture wedding!
