Rooms Policies


Check-in time:
Our guaranteed check-in time is 4:00 p.m. The hotel will gladly accommodate early check-ins whenever possible. Early check-ins are based on request only, they are not a guarantee. Granting of early check ins is dependant on several factors such as how sold out we were the night before and your actual time of arrival.

Checkout time:
Checkout time is Noon. Requests for a late checkout are limited and are approved on a first-come, first-serve basis on the day of departure. Any request must be approved by the front desk prior to 11:00 a.m. A guest who does not vacate the room by checkout time and has received no approval from the front desk may be subject to a penalty charge.

Cancellation policy:
Reservations are subject to a 48-hour cancellation policy, unless otherwise stated. If for any reason you must cancel your reservation, please do so by 4:00 pm two days prior to your scheduled arrival. You will be provided with a cancellation number and will incur no charges. Any reservation cancelled after 4:00 pm two days prior to a scheduled arrival will receive penalty of first nights room and tax charge, applied to credit card used to guarantee the reservation.

Pets, smoking and damage policies:
We The SeaVenture Resort enforce a strict no smoking and no pets policy at this resort. Any violation of this policy will result in a minimum $200 fine. We also reserve the right to make additional charges upon departure for any excessive cleaning or damages done to the room or grounds.
Resort Fee- $7 per night resort fee covers the use of beach towels, beach chairs, “Beach Cruiser” bicycles, morning newspaper, covered parking, wired and wireless internet access

Payment policy:
Guest must present a valid major credit card in his or her name along with a valid photo ID upon arrival. At that time a credit card authorization will be processed to cover all charges. A sufficient amount of credit must cover room, tax and resort fee as well as a minimum of $100 per room night for incidentals. Presenting a debit card upon arrival will result in a hold (temporary charge) on your account for the amount authorized. Upon checkout the credit/debit card authorization will be released. Once an authorization has been released the credit/debit card-issuing bank will determine when your funds can be made available. To arrange Third Party Billing please fax a copy of our Credit Card Authorization Form to us at 805-773-0924.

Beach House Payment:
Upon reservation a credit card is required for payment of first nights room and 11 % sales tax. This is a non-refundable deposit. Cancellation is 7 days prior, but again the deposit is non-refundable deposit. For payment we need a credit card to guarantee the reservation. A credit card is required upon check in. This does not have to be the same credit card that was used upon reservation.
