Accessibility
Come one, come all.
We strive to provide an accessible facility that allows all visitors to take part in all our hotel has to offer. Here are the details of our rooms and common areas and how they are accessible:
LOBBY
Our lobby offers three entrances and exits with no steps or ramps needed to access the front desk. There is an elevator across from the front desk to access the second and third floor.
RESTAURANT
The restaurant is accessible with no steps leading to the entrance. There are no steps leading to the bar, the main dining room and our two outdoor patios. There is both outdoor and indoor seating accessible for wheelchairs.
THE BOARDWALK
The boardwalk is accessible by exiting one of the three doors located in the lobby.
BEACH ACCESS
The Beach is not accessible by wheelchair, however, the city of Pismo Beach has a beach wheelchair that is available to use at no extra cost. The beach wheelchair is located at the Sandcastle Inn right next door to the SeaVenture. They do require that a credit card be left with them while the beach wheelchair is checked out.
PARKING
Covered self-parking is provided at the hotel with four handicap parking spots. Two located upstairs next to the front desk and two located in the lower portion of the garage next to the elevator.
PUBLIC RESTROOMS
There is one set of public restrooms each for men and women, located in the restaurant.
GUESTROOMS
We have three accessible guestrooms, one on the ground floor with an entrance off the boardwalk, and two non-view rooms on the second floor accessible by an elevator. Accessible rooms include the following:
- Roll in shower (only in two rooms)
- Lowered mattress
- Extra wide door frame
- Handles by the toilet
- Shower bench and grab bars (in one non-view rooms)
