Walking distance from SeaVenture you will find impeccable tasting rooms and wine bars or drive just 15 minutes to the east and northeast to discover the best of Edna Valley and 30 to 45 minutes further north to find the heart of the Paso Robles’ wine country.

The southern San Luis Obispo County wine country includes over 3,000 acres of vineyards encompassing Edna Valley, Arroyo Grande Valley and Avila Valley. The world class micro-climates, unique soils and unusually long growing seasons promote complex flavors that any wine enthusiast or novice palate will want to explore.

The northern San Luis Obispo County wine country includes Paso Robles, Templeton and Atascadero and is the largest geographic viticulture appellation in California. The Paso Robles AVA has 26,000 acres of vineyards and more than 200 wineries within its boundaries. Featuring a greater day-to-night temperature differentiation, distinct microclimates and high soil pH values, this appellation creates unique wine producing capabilities.
